How does it work?

Donate and recycle your furniture in four easy steps.

  1. 1

    You propose your goods

Complete a quote request or contact our team to discuss your disposition project.

  2. 2

    We categorize them

Based on photographs, our teams assess the furniture's condition, sort items for reuse or recycling and post them on our matching platform for a limited time.

  3. 3

    Nonprofits collect them

Nonprofit organizations consult the inventory in real time and reserve the items they need.

  4. 4

    We measure your impact

At the end of the project, we provide a traceability report highlighting the efforts and results achieved, including volumes diverted from landfill, the number of nonprofits supported and thank-you letters.

Reuse: a priority in the hierarchy of the 3RV-E

Learn more about our responsible approach

3RV-E

When an item no longer meets your organization's needs, it may still be useful elsewhere. Réutilisons follows the 3RV-E hierarchy, which prioritizes source reduction, reuse, recycling, recovery and, as a last resort, disposal. By making your usable goods available to other organizations, you promote reuse—an approach that extends their useful life and limits less desirable disposal options.

Best practices for donations

Your benefits

  • Avoid landfill, reduce your costs and make an organization happy.
  • Simplify your process by choosing a turnkey solution.
  • Support organizations and demonstrate your commitment to your community.
  • Measure your impact with the traceability report we provide.

Adopt these best practices to maximize the number of donated items:

Planning

The earlier you prepare your project, the more items you are likely to donate. Ideally, begin this work four weeks in advance.

Delivery fees

As a donor, you would normally have to pay transportation costs to landfill. By offering your goods and funding their delivery to nonprofits, you achieve two goals at once: you reduce your environmental footprint and become a true driver of solidarity.

  • This increases the likelihood that donations will be reused quickly.
  • It reduces your recycling and landfill costs.
  • By funding delivery, you transform a disposal cost into a lever for social and environmental impact.

Traceability report

At the end of your responsible disposal project, we will provide a traceability report highlighting the efforts and results achieved.
