Find answers to your reuse questions.

Réutilisons today for tomorrow…

For contributors

Before proposing a surplus

What types of furniture do you accept?

All types of furniture. Once we receive your photographs, we assess the reuse potential.

Do I need to offer a minimum quantity for my project to be accepted?

No. There is no minimum threshold.

Do you accept items other than furniture?

Yes. We can also accept other types of items, such as décor, bedding, clothing lots, dishes, sports equipment and appliances. You can include them in your quote request.

Registration and project implementation

How do I propose a surplus donation?

Just complete the quote request.

How much time should I allow for the donation process?

There is a minimum timeline. Allow at least two weeks between posting your items and the pickup date. However, we recommend allowing one month for the complete process—posting, photography, matching and delivery—to optimize results.

What's the ideal processing or posting period?

We recommend keeping items posted on our platform for one month.

Beneficiary selection and priorities

Can I choose the nonprofit beneficiary?

Yes, within a maximum radius of 30 km from your location. We will then contact the organization.

Will certain organizations receive priority when items are selected?

Depending on the project, certain types of organizations may receive priority during selection. However, items are always assigned on a first-come, first-served basis: nonprofits have access to items that have not yet been reserved.

Collection, transportation and logistics

Who pays for transportation?

The donors. Transportation is part of our service offering.

How does collection work?

We pick up your items once the matching process with nonprofits is complete, after the limited posting period.

Proof, impact and follow-up

Will I receive proof or a reuse certificate?

You will receive a traceability report, including thank-you letters from every organization that collected items from your inventory.

How do you measure project impact?

By the number of items donated, the weight diverted from landfill and/or the depreciated monetary value.

For beneficiaries

Eligibility and registration

Who can register?

Any nonprofit organization with a Quebec enterprise number (NEQ).

What fees are associated with platform registration?

Registration is free and reserved exclusively for nonprofits.

Furniture search and reservation

How do I search for furniture?

Once registered on our platform, enter the name of an item in the search bar.

Is the furniture free?

Yes, it is.

How do I reserve an item?

Add it to your cart.

Will certain organizations receive priority when items are selected?

Depending on the project, certain types of organizations may receive priority. However, the first-come, first-served rule applies. You only have access to items that have not yet been reserved.

Delivery and returns

Who organizes pickup and delivery?

Réutilisons picks up the items from the contributor and delivers them to your organization's address.

What if the furniture does not meet our needs?

Make sure in advance that you select only the items you need. We do not take back any item once it has been delivered.

Referrals and community growth

Can I refer another organization?

Absolutely. Through your action, you help grow our community and make reuse the new standard!

Alerts and communication

How will we be notified when new items become available?

When new items are posted, you will receive an email alert if they correspond to the categories you selected during registration.
