A project born
in the field

Réutilisons is Frédéric McCann's latest project. It grew out of his field experience as a relocation specialist. For years, he cleared commercial and industrial spaces and too often saw functional furniture end up in landfill.

Concerned about the critical state of the environment, he was convinced that this practice had to stop. He saw a more responsible solution: stop treating surplus as waste, recognize it as a resource and give it a new life.

From an idea to a movement

Building on these observations, Frédéric envisioned and launched a comprehensive, environmentally responsible disposal project that would later become Réutilisons. Early on, recognized companies and institutions such as Bombardier and the CNESST were quickly drawn to the approach and collaborated with him, generating the momentum needed to build credibility. The concept gained popularity and eventually became permanent, demonstrating its effectiveness and potential.

Over time, through reuse and donations, Réutilisons' matching platform took shape. By working with organizations of all sizes, the team manages their office assets, sorts them using photographs, posts them on the platform and collects them, creating positive environmental and social impact.

Environmental and social benefits

Today, this platform allows Réutilisons to divert the vast majority of surplus goods that would otherwise have ended up in landfill.

Every reused item creates concrete environmental and social benefits:

  • Less waste sent to landfill.

  • Fewer new resources extracted to manufacture furniture, helping respect planetary limits.

  • More well-equipped spaces for social initiatives.

Join the movement

Réutilisons is a collective effort where every action counts. Every donation, project and partnership strengthens a model that proves economic performance, environmental responsibility and social solidarity can work together.

Governance and vision

Frédéric McCann

President and Founder

A serial entrepreneur and expert in commercial relocations, transportation and logistics, Frédéric has led Expert Mobilier since 2012. After seeing tonnes of functional furniture end up in landfill year after year, he decided to take action.

He launched the Réutilisons initiative in 2022 to transform this “waste” into resources, creating a matching platform that collects, redistributes and delivers office furniture free of charge to community organizations. His solution also helps public institutions comply with Law 12 when managing surplus assets.

Frédéric's goal is to reduce businesses' environmental footprint while providing concrete support to nonprofits and the vulnerable people they serve. He aims to create Quebec's largest B2B donation network.
